Behind our denim
Ysé was born out of a very intimate relationship with the body. From the desire to create pieces that respect it, accompany it, reveal it: without ever restricting it. For a long time, we wondered whether this balance, which we explore in lingerie, was possible in a more raw, structured material such as denim.
And then we decided to give it a try. This year, we are presenting our very first denim collection: jeans that hug the body like our lingerie. And just for you, we are revealing some of their best-kept secrets.
1. DENIM IS PRECISION WORK
Each cut has been meticulously designed to make you feel free and confident, perfectly shaping the waist and naturally hugging your curves. Each model is the result of several months of work: depending on the colour, the fabric reacts differently and requires further adjustments. Every detail had to be reviewed down to the millimetre, with multiple trials (up to seven prototypes for each cut and colour) and input from experts, until the perfect fit was achieved.
2. SPECIFIC SIZES, FOR EVEN MORE WOMEN
As you know, we care deeply about your bodies. We have always created lingerie: demanding pieces that require each model to be available in a wide range of sizes. For these first jeans, we felt it was essential to design sizes that could adapt to as many body types as possible, as we already do. Our jeans are available in sizes 34 to 46, and there is a tall option: with an extra four centimetres in length for those with longer legs.
3. CHOOSING THE RIGHT MATERIAL IS A CONSCIOUS DECISION
True to Ysé's standards, this denim was selected for its 100% certified organic cotton fabric: a non-negotiable minimum for us. A real commitment. We were looking for a fabric that retains the authentic and timeless look of denim, while remaining light enough to be worn throughout the seasons and strong enough to last (really) a long time. A raw fabric that moulds to the body and develops a patina over time.
4. DENIM CREATED CLOSER TO YOU
Doing better also means going beyond the material. From fabric to production, our garments are made in the Mediterranean basin: carefully assembled in Morocco from Turkish-sourced materials. And to reach you... our denim is transported by road or sea only.
