THE CARE OF PRETTY THINGS
SWIMWEAR
If you want to keep your swimsuit line for almost as long as you live, here's our advice on how to look after it.
THE CARE OF PRETTY THINGS
SWIMWEAR
Washing
First of all, we recommend that you don't wash it after each wear. Just rinse it in clean water. When it comes to washing, we prefer hand washing in cold water, with similar colours and on the reverse side.
If you choose to machine wash, we recommend you follow these rules:
#1 Use a delicate cycle (30°C maximum),
#2 Put your jersey in a washing net,
#4 Wash with similar colours.
We do not recommend dry-cleaning!
Drying
We don't recommend putting your jersey in the tumble dryer. A little patience will go a long way when you wear it again.
If you choose to dry it outside, we recommend that you dry it away from direct sunlight and turn it inside out before hanging it out. This will keep the colours brighter for longer.
When dry
Once it's dry, that's it! No need to iron or steamer it.
A few final tips:
#1 Avoid direct contact with sun cream,
#2 Beware of rough surfaces that could damage the fabric. Instead, sit on a foutah or towel.
FOR MORE RESPONSIBLE CARE
It is recommended to use a wash bag like the Guppyfriend for your synthetic fibre pieces to reduce the release of micro-particles into the water. You can also use it for your natural or artificial fibre pieces to minimise the impact of the washing machine drum on your garments.
