OUR PURPOSE
Empowering women to feel at home in their bodies and the world with confidence, through fashion created with care and consciousness.

Since 2012, Ysé has been a brand by women, for women. Born from lingerie, it has expanded season after season, from underwear to ready-to-wear, without ever changing its intention: helping women feel good, free, and fully themselves. This purpose puts words to what has driven us from day one, and to the way we want to continue growing. It rests on three convictions.
Helping women inhabit their bodies and the world
Helping women inhabit their bodies with confidence starts first with our pieces. From the beginning, with particular attention to small busts, we wanted to create lingerie that naturally enhances bodies, far from the artifices and standards imposed by our sector. Then, gradually, we imagined a complete wardrobe of pieces made to become a second skin, in which every woman can feel good and confident — to please herself before pleasing others.
This confidence also comes through our images: we want to help the women who follow us look at themselves with greater softness and tenderness. We seek to reveal bodies, without trickery or retouching, so as not to erase any of their singularities.
It is also reflected in our words: in the way we support our customers with kindness, in the fitting room or through customer service; and in our public statements, which give women a voice on their bodies, their intimacy, and the subjects that affect them.
But this confidence does not stop at the mirror. Inhabiting the world also means taking one’s place in it. It starts with us: we want everyone to find their place, gain responsibilities, and build their own path. It extends beyond our company, through our commitment alongside Rêv’Elles, which supports young girls from working-class neighborhoods toward autonomy and self-confidence. In this way, we want to help women reveal themselves and trace ambitious paths.

Fashion made with care
Care is our way of doing things. Inhabiting one’s body and inhabiting the world means being in an attentive relationship with oneself, with others, and with what surrounds us. This attention guides the way we conceive fashion: caring for the people who make it, for the living world, and for the resources we depend on. Because we cannot inhabit the world without caring for it.
Caring for the planet, first. This translates into concrete choices and a lot of common sense: choosing certified, lower-impact materials; manufacturing as close as possible, in Europe and the Mediterranean basin; avoiding air transport between our workshops and our warehouse; and our desire to produce as accurately as possible to avoid waste.
Caring for our creations, then, so that they last: this is the care we encourage everyone to give their pieces. When a piece is damaged, we repair it; when it is no longer worn, we give it a Second Life.
Caring for others, finally, It starts with caring for each of our teams, by creating healthy working conditions. And it extends to all the relationships around us: our partners, our suppliers, and the people who make our pieces in factories. Because our creations owe so much to know-how — lace makers, embroiderers… — that we are committed to highlighting and helping preserve.
Consciously
For us, acting consciously means taking the time, every day, to question what we do. It also means accepting that we do not know everything, nor do everything perfectly — that we may doubt, sometimes make mistakes, and continue to learn. And because we are growing, we are all the more aware of our responsibility: the responsibility we have towards the women who trust us, towards those who make our pieces, and towards the world we share.
